Voice whistle

This artifact may cross timelines into either the past or the future, we have not been able to determine that aspect. It requires a lot of further exploring.

Item

This artifact was referred as the “Voice Whistle” by the previous owner.

Description

There are two parts to this artifact, the elongated part is a whistle, which happens to be not very loud; the second part is a cylindrical area with a spinning round sphere. This sphere can be spun clockwise or counter-clockwise. We think that at one point the sphere may have rotated with the whistle as it was blown. In the current state the sphere has to be manually rotated.

Provenance

We obtained this from a merchant in Cyprus. This merchant had quite a number of execrablized items mixed with benign items. The merchant was not clear about the powers of the item and just thought it to be an elaborate toy-whistle that produced some extra sounds.

Powers

When you blow the whistle you immediately start hearing other sounds; sound such as human voices, animals, birds, and sometimes thunder and rain. All the extra sounds stop when you stop blowing the whistle. The sounds are only heard by the person blowing the whistle, and we noticed that the sound maybe the same as long as you blow with same intensity as before. If you blow harder or softer, then the sounds all change.

The sphere also plays a big role in the production of the sounds. If you turn the sphere then the sounds change same as turning the knob on a radio. New sound appear with different people, different accents and many times different languages we have never heard before.

Since the sounds are only heard by the person blowing the whistle, we knew that the whistle does attach its powers to the participant. For this reason we did not experiment with this artifact for very long because we know that there is always some price to pay. Maybe not now, but this item will affect the participant is some very negative way. This is how all these artifacts work and is based in the core ritual of execrablization.
